In March 2020, after big schedule changes over the previous year, BBC Radio 2 won Best National Station or Network at the ARIAs (Audio & Radio Industry Awards). In that period I had launched two new daytime shows, Sara Cox & Jo Whiley, as an Assistant Producer, including acting up to produce both shows.
In November 2018, the Radio 2 Breakfast Team won the award for Best Live Event/Outside Broadcast Producer at the Audio Production Awards for our show; ‘Chris Evans Live in Windsor for the Royal Wedding‘ . This was an OB that I co-led the planning of with my colleague Meera Depala, and was produced by Graham Albans.
In 2017, I was named by the Radio Academy in their 30 Under 30 list for 2017 – their “annual search for the brightest young talent from across the radio and audio industry”.
In 2016, The Chris Evans Breakfast Show won Best National Music Breakfast Show at the ARIAs (Audio & Radio Industry Awards). We also won Bronze for the same category in 2017, and were nominated in 2018.
In 2013, the Leeds Student Radio team won Gold in the Best Live Event/Outside Broadcast at the Student Radio Awards for our coverage of the Leeds University Union Leadership Race.
